Abstract

Mujer de 30 años con historia clínica Nº l '216,562. Acude a la consulta externa por dolor pélvico y deposiciones acinta-das. Al examen clínico lo único anormal era una estrechez en el recto con sensación de masa. Los exámenes de laboratorio (hemograma, coprograma y urograma) eran normales. En la rectosigmoidoscopia se halló una masa estenosante que com-prometía el recto hasta la unión rectosigmoide. Como el rectosigmoidoscopio no se pudo avanzar más allá de este sitio, se Je ordenó una tomografía computadorizada (TC). En radiología se recibe con diagnóstico endoscópico de carcinoma del recto.
