Rabia humana en el Valle del Cauca, Colombia, 1992
Abstract
Se presenta un caso de encefalitis rábica sin sospecha clínica en una mujer de 20 años de edad. El diagnóstico se comprobó con la técnica de inmunofluorescencia directa para antígeno rábico en tejido cerebral fijado en formalina. El carácter esporádico de la rabia humana en la actualidad en el Valle del Cauca exige mantener la vigilancia epidemiológica y considerar esta posibilidad en todo caso de encefalitis de causa no aclarada.Authors
