El dolor en el adulto mayor.
Abstract
Se hace una revisión del dolor en el adulto mayor como grupo poblacional en aumento, destacando aspectos generales y comparativos con otros grupos de edad. Se revisan tópicos básicos como clasificaciones, cuantificaciones, fisiopatología y se resalta el manejo de equipo, mencionando como parte primordial el componente de rehabilitación que en muchas ocasiones no se tiene en cuenta como método terapéutico de elección durante el manejo conservador del dolor en personas mayores.Authors
