Mecanismo farmacológico de la acción antihelmíntica de la piperazina.
Abstract
En el presente trabajo se discuten los posibles mecanismos por los cuales piperazina podría ejercer su efecto antihelmíntico.
a) Alterando el flujo de iones en el parásito.
b) Actuando como un análogo de una hormona inhibitoria.
c) Alterando la síntesis de acetilcolina.
Se demuestra la acción espasmogénica de piperazina sobre el músculo liso de mamífero (Íleon de conejo) y se discuten varios mecanismos que podrían hallarse implicados en esta acción.
