Fueron éstas las palabras pronunciadas por Christiaan Neethling Barnard para referirse al domingo 3 de diciembre de 1967 cuando, en el Hospital Groote Schuur de Cape Town, Sudáfrica, dirigió al equipo que realizó el primer transplante cardíaco efectuado en un ser humano.
