Cirugía ambulatoria, alternativa de aumento de cobertura. Análisis de 723 pacientes con cuidado post-operatorio en casa
Abstract
Se analizan 723 pacientes operados en el H.U.V., sin hospitalización y enviados a casa para ser cuidados post operatoriamente.
La operación que con mayor frecuencia se practicó fue hernia (54.3%) y la operación más compleja que se realizó fue histerectomía vaginal.
Las complicaciones post operatorias fueron pocas y ninguna puso en peligro la vida del paciente. La más frecuente fue hematoma que se presentó en el 4.2% de los pacientes. No se presentó ninguna muerte.
