Prevalence studies
Main Article Content
Uses, limitations, and basic rules to design a "prevalence study" (cross-sectional) are presented. The prevalence studies are analytic or descriptive according to their use. The data sources, the design aspects, and statistical analysis are emphasized. Examples of each types of studies are presented.
