Colombia Médica is the official journal of the School of Health Sciences, Universidad del Valle, Cali, Colombia. It isa quarterly journal submitted to peer arbitration, published without interruption since 1970, offering contributions of different nature.
The articles contained in special issues are arbitrated by peers and fulfill the same selection process and criteria as the other articles in Colombia Médica.
Its abbreviated title is Colomb Med, and it should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, references, and bibliographic strips.
Impact factor 2011 (ISI): 0.24. Rejected papers 2011: 60%. Average time (editorial process) 2010: 4.5 months.
