Admission tests and academic performance of nursing students, Universidad del Valle, Cali, Colombia

A group of 52 graduated students admitted between 1983 and 1986 to the Departamento de Enfermería, Universidad del Valle, Cali, Colombia, was assessed. A linear regression model was applied to the admission test grades and scores of 13 subjects. Estimated correlation coefficients were a basis for establishing relationships among admission tests, students' performances, and subjects.
